Hotel Granada
Free Wi-Fi and works perfectly. Well located between Amstel Station and the Old City. A lot of fun around in the neighbourhood. It's quite small and noisy (don't expect something different in Amsterdam) but if you can stand 7 other drunk/stoned youngsters at night you don't mind about the noise outside (and if you do, Amsterdam is not the place for you, go somewhere else)

Travel Hotel
The hotel is in a great location close to Centraal Station, the red light district and the shopping area. The staff were polite and friendly. On the whole this hostel is very accommodating for the money. I would come back and stay.
